How can I find a company that can provide me services? 

FSSA provides a list of our members that can help you with fire protection, fire suppression, and other services. Using our Member Search feature, you can simply enter your Zip code into the Proximity search and find the point of contact for companies in your area.

My company recently moved to a different address, how do I get that information updated on my profile?

If your company's physical street address or phone number has changed, you can send an email to [email protected] with the new street address/phone number. Please allow 3-5 business days for the information to be updated on the company's profile.

Can I join FSSA if I am not in the US? 

Yes, membership is open to any company outside of the US as long as you fit in one of the membership categories.

How do I login to my member profile? 

There is a Member Login button in the upper right corner of every FSSA webpage. Click here to login

My profile has incorrect information, how can I update it?

FSSA members may edit information on their profiles, including email, phone number, and address, by visiting My Profile, and clicking the "Edit" button.

My username and/or password is not working. How do I reset my password?

If you have not received email instructions after clicking "Forgot your password", please check your spam/junk folder in your email. You must use the email address associated with your member profile to receive a reset link.

I applied for membership, when will I hear back?

All applications for membership are reviewed by the membership committee and board of directors for approval. This will take approximately 1-3 weeks.

Does a membership include multiple user profiles?

Yes! You can have multiple user profiles under an FSSA company membership. The Key Contact of your company's membership can view, add and remove individuals from your FSSA roster at any time. Instructions are here.

Can I transfer my membership to another person?

No, membership cannot be transferred to another person.

My company has a membership, how can I get added?

If your company is a member, and you do not have login credentials, please fill out a Company Contact form.

I need to pay an invoice, where can I find it? 

Go to Member Login and login. Then go to the invoices tab under the "My Profile" tab to view your invoice. If you do not see your invoice, contact FSSA Headquarters via email at [email protected].

How can I renew my membership online? 

Renew online using the button below. If you are a Key Contact for your company, you are able to renew on behalf of your company using this same form.  FSSA’s membership year runs April 1 – March 31 of the following year.

If you receive an error, it may be one of the following reasons: 

  1.  You are already renewed. Check your membership status by visiting your profile.
  2. You are not a Key Contact for your company's membership. Contact your company's membership administration.
  3. You are not within the renewal period. If you've lapsed for more than a year, FSSA can assist with getting your membership reinstated. Contact us at [email protected].

What payment methods are accepted for membership renewal?

FSSA accepts all major credit cards [American Express, Discover, Master Card and Visa]. Payment can also be made by check, payable to: Fire Suppression Systems Association.

With the ongoing delays with mail delivery, we highly recommend membership renewal payments to be made by credit card, using the online link provided in the renewal notice email or by logging into your member profile and going to invoices.

I did not receive my renewal notification email, who can I contact?

Membership renewal notifications are sent to the email address listed within your member profile. If your email address has changed or is incorrect, please contact FSSA HQs at [email protected].

I'm a member. Why do I not see member pricing?

Discounted member pricing is available for all active FSSA members. Please make sure that you are logged in to your active membership profile to secure member rates.

How do I enroll in the FSSA Training Program? 

FSSA's Online Training Program is designed to educate and train personnel within the fire suppression industry. The program is completely online, so there is no in-person portion. This enables the program to be "self-paced", which means students are able to take courses at their own leisure and can sign up at any time. For more information and to enroll, click here
