Registration Questions

What comes with a Delegate registration?

FSSA members who wish to attend the 39th Annual Forum are considered Delegate Registrants. Delegate Registrants can attend all events listed on the schedule.

Since we're not in-person this year, what materials will I need for the Forum?

You will need to download the virtual platform, Purple World, on your computer prior to the start of the Forum. It is recommended that you download the platform immediately after you register to make sure there are no issues when you download it.

You will also need to create an avatar so you can network with other attendees in the platform. FSSA Headquarters and IT staff within the platform will be there to assist if you run into any issues.

What do I do if I need to cancel?

All cancellation requests must be emailed to [email protected]. Cancellations are subject to a $15 administrative fee. No refunds will be made after February 9, 2021.

Can I transfer my registration if I can no longer attend?

Yes! You may transfer your registration to someone else in your organization. The request must be made via email to [email protected] and include the following information for the new registrant:

  • Name
  • Job Title
  • Email
  • Phone

How do I get an attendee list?

Approximately one week prior to the event, you can expect to receive an email entitled "What You Need To Know." This email will contain the attendee list including name, organization, city, state in PDF format.

Can I receive Continuing Education Units for attending the Forum?

Yes. FSSA is a NICET recognized training provider. The Annual Forum educational sessions are available for CEU credit. You will have to check into the educational sessions to confirm your attendance and will receive a certificate of attendance after the Forum is over.

Do I need to have a webcam for the event?

No, attendees will not need a webcam. Only presenters will be asked to be on video for their presentation.

What is the Forum attire?

Attendees will be able to login from the comfort of their own home, workspace, office, or really, anywhere! You are welcome to wear anything you want, as attendees will not be shown on video, but on screen through an avatar.

Virtual Platform Questions

How do I access the virtual platform?

Each attendee will need to download the platform, Purple World, on their computer. View instructions on how to download the platform here. It is important that you create your account using the same email that you registered for the Annual Forum with.

What if my sound is not working?

Attendees are encouraged to use headphones while in the Purple World. This helps minimize background noise for other attendees.
