FSSA Regional Training Workshops

FSSA is excited to hold our first regional training workshop September 21-23, 2026, at the NTCEF Facility in Dallas, Texas. This immersive, three-day experience will focus on installation, commissioning, inspection, and troubleshooting of special hazard fire suppression systems. 

As part of this new initiative, we are developing hands-on mechanical and electrical training sessions specifically for Halocarbon Agent and Inert Gas Agent fire suppression systems. Our goal is to provide the attendees with practical, real-world training that extends beyond the classroom and allows participants to interact directly with system components, releasing controls, and installation scenarios.

We are anticipating 50-60 installers, technicians, supervisors, and industry professionals to attend. Due to the limited number of seats, registration is open to FSSA Members only until July 27. After July 27, non-members may register if space is available.

FSSA is a NICET recognized training provider. A certificate opf attendance may be provided by request for attendees to apply towards credit hours.

Workshop Supporters: 

FSSA is seeking manufacturer members interested in helping shape the training experience by providing products and/or technologies. Consider supporting the event through one or more of the following:

• Providing a functional demonstration releasing panel or training simulator.
• Supplying demonstration hardware or equipment. (manual release stations, abort switches, detectors, releasing modules, solenoids, pressure switches, nozzles, valves, etc.)

While the event is training-focused, it also provides a unique opportunity for you to place your equipment directly in front of the installers and technicians responsible for specifying, installing, commissioning, and maintaining these systems on a daily basis.
