Registration Questions

What comes with a delegate registration?

FSSA members who wish to attend the 40th Annual Forum are considered delegate registrants. Delegate registrants can attend all events listed on the 40th Annual Forum Schedule.

What comes with the spouse registration?

Spouses are able to attend all social events throughout the Forum, including the special spouse breakfast on Saturday, February 19. If you plan to bring your spouse to any event, they will need to register and have a name badge. Registration can be done at the same time as your registration.

Where do I pick up my registration materials?

You will need to pick up your name badge along with any other materials when you arrive. Your name badge serves as entry to all events, including social activities, and you will not be allowed in without it. The registration desk will be located at the hotel and will be open starting on Friday, February 18.

What do I do if I need to cancel?

All cancellation requests must be emailed to [email protected]. Cancellations are subject to a $150 administrative fee. No refunds will be made after January 18, 2022. Hotel, airline and rental car cancellations must be made by the registrant. FSSA is not responsible for cancellation fees.

Can I transfer my registration if I can no longer attend?

Yes! You may transfer your registration to someone else in your organization. The request must be made by filling out a registration substitution form.

Hotel and Travel Questions

Is there a deadline to book my hotel room at the group rate? Where do I make the reservation?

Each attendee is responsible for booking their own room. FSSA secured the following special room rates for attendees:$364.00 per night. The deadline to book your hotel room at the discounted group rate is January 31, 2022 and is subject to availability.

Call (239) 444-1234 and mention you are part of the Fire Suppression Systems Association (FSSA) group to receive the discounted rate.

Can I receive the discounted room rate for dates before and/or after the conference?

Yes. Attendees wishing to come in earlier or stay later than the actual forum dates will need to call the hotel. FSSA's special rate is available 3 days pre and post the dates of the Annual Forum, and is based on availability.

Does the hotel provide transportation to/from the airport?

You can reserve an Uber, Lyft, Taxi, or rent a car for your stay. Additional information is provided here.

What are the driving directions to the hotel? What are the parking fees?

The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort is located at  5001 Coconut Rd, Bonita Springs, FL 34134, Click here for directions.

Self Parking

  • Overnight: guest self-parking $18 per night
  • Hourly: guest self-parking $3 per hour (max $18 per day)
  • Dining and Spa only, with validation (up to 3 hours) $0 /Hourly

Valet Parking

  • Overnight: with in/out privileges $27 per night
  • Daily: with in/out privileges $12 per day

General Questions

How do I get an attendee list?

Approximately one week prior to the event, you can expect to receive an email entitled "Tips For Your Trip." This email will contain the attendee list including name, organization, city, and state in PDF format. 

Can I receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for attending the forum?

Yes. FSSA is a NICET recognized training provider. The Annual Forum educational sessions are available for CEU credit. During the Forum, you will have to sign in at the registration desk and after the Forum, you will be emailed a copy of your certificate.

What is the forum attire?

FSSA Sessions/Social Events: business casual/resort wear is suitable:

  • Women: dress shorts/capris, slacks, blouses, knit tops
  • Men: khaki pants, dress shorts, collared shirts, slacks

Welcome Reception: themed reception:

  • Get ready to dress in costume! The theme for the welcome reception will be announced soon.

President's Banquet: formal attire:

  • Women: dresses, pantsuits, skirts, and tops
  • Men: suits or coat and tie

We also recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket to the educational sessions, as the conference rooms can get chilly.

Will there be free WiFi at the convention?

Information for WiFi will be posted at the FSSA Registration Desk.

What is included in my registration?

  • Registration for one (1) expo representative. Click here to review the cost to add an additional partner expo representative.
  • One (1) six-foot draped table with two chairs located in the main area of the Annual Forum
  • Complimentary electricity
  • Business listing in the onsite Annual Forum program
  • Listing on the Forum event page
  • One (1) attendee list (one week prior to Forum)

Where do I ship my items?

Items can be shipped to Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort at 5001 Coconut Rd Bonita Springs, FL 34134. When shipping items to the hotel, please clearly label them for the FSSA Annual Forum, ATTN: [Name of Company Representative Attending]. The hotel will be receiving your boxes, FSSA will not. If you are having trouble locating your boxes upon your arrival to the hotel, stop by the FSSA registration desk and we will be able to contact a hotel representative for you.
