40s Themed Celebration at the Welcome Reception

Friday, February 18, 2022
6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

We are excited to announce the theme to the Welcome Reception & Dinner at the 40th Annual Forum… The 40s! As we celebrate 4 decades of the FSSA it only made sense to celebrate this accomplishment with a 40s-decade themed welcome reception. Come dressed in your best 40s garb, start brushing up on your swing dancing skills (hint, hint!), and get ready to celebrate 40 years of the FSSA!

Here are a few ideas of costume attire from the 40s:

  • Knee length A-line dresses and skirts
  • Padded shoulder blouses
  • Two-piece suits
  • Overalls and coveralls

  • Pinstripe suits in navy or grey
  • Felt Fedoras
  • Two-toned shoes
  • Wide-legged trousers

The fire suppression’s finest wiffle ball teams will battle it out for the 5th Annual Wiffle Ball World Series title during this year’s Forum!  We invite you to play ball or just attend as a spectator.

There is no cost for this event and everyone will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Donations will be accepted for the FSSA Educational Foundation during the game. All donations received are 100% tax deductible and benefit the FSSA scholarship program and foundation.
